Police in Alabama are currently investigating a domestic violence incident that resulted in the arrest of a Prattville man. On Aug. 13, Prattville police responded to a domestic disturbance. When they arrived on the scene, they found a girl unconscious with serious injuries to her face and head. She was removed from life-support on Tuesday, Aug. 17.
The accused is a 58-year-old male who is said to be the victim’s stepfather. He was initially charged with domestic assault, but the charge has since changed to murder. He is being held in police custody. Bail was set at $250,000.
